A collection of trusted resources for anyone who might need them.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free, 24/7, confidential support to people in distress, as well as prevention and crisis resources. Call 1-800-273-8255.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project offers support to LGBTQ+ youth, and deal with crisis prevention and various aid. You can call the TrevorLifeline at 1-866-488-7386.

Dating Abuse and Domestic Violence Hotline

Loveisrespect focuses on young adult relationships and works to end dating abuse. They also provide resources to educate teens on healthy relationships, including LGBTQ+ resources. Call 1-866-331-9474.

Eating Disorder Hotline

The National Eating Disorders Association offers help to a variety of eating disorders, and is available Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm, and Friday 9am-5pm (EST). Call 1-800-931-2237.

PMHAs

National Peer Mental Health Advocates offer free, one-on-one mental health support by people who have experienced mental illness and/or neurodivergence.

Power Library

Power library offers a free online service to provide aid to students struggling with writing. Chat with a librarian instantly on any topic for help on essays, writing assignments, etc.

Notion Workspace

Notion is an accessible workspace application that helps with organization, time management, journaling, budgeting, and more.

Readlang

Readlang aids language learners by translating words and phrases live on any webpage. The flashcard tool can also be used with any selected words.

Slidesgo

Slidesgo provides a huge database of free, high-quality Google Slides and PowerPoint templates. There are also infographic templates available, and newly added backgrounds for Zoom/Google Meets calls, all with the goal of making your online education a little more enjoyable.

Blur It Out

Blur It Out is a chrome extension that automatically blurs custom blacklisted words on any site you visit, censoring possible triggers. Hovering over blurred portions reveals the censored text, although you can disable this feature.

Doodles in the Membrane

Doodles in the Membrane provides free educational infographics about Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry, created by a PhD student. The infographics cover a wide range of topics, intended for high school and college students.

Safety Plan Template

In the event of a crisis, the most common first step in aftercare is creating a Safety Plan, should another crisis arise. These should be filled with a psychologist present, although if you are unable to access a professional, this is the most common template used.

Daylio

Daylio is a mood tracker and journaling app that helps you keep track of your mental health. The app is incredibly customizable, and also offers statistics as to what activities boost your mood, your average recent mood, and much more. Daylio is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Calm

Calm is a meditation app that helps with high-anxiety moments. While most of the features are subscription-based, the breathing exercise tool is free to use. It allows for multiple breathing patterns and customizable BPM. Calm is available on the App Store and Google Play, as well as their website.
